When you’re driving outside of Belgium, the OBU should show a green light and display “Tollfree”. You will never be tolled outside of Belgium. If your OBU shows a red light, we advise you to immediately contact our Customer support before entering Belgium to solve the issue.

It is important to keep your OBU switched on when driving outside of Belgium because by doing so, your OBU will automatically search for new map and system updates and update to the most recent software version.
