Do I have a Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV)?

A zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) is a heavy good vehicle without an internal combustion engine or with an internal combustion engine that emits less than 1gCO2 per kWh or per km.

Different engine types are considered as ZEVs:

  • Electric Battery
  • Solar
  • Hydrogen
  • Combined-hydrogen-electric
  • Fuel-cell-hydrogen source and electric engine
  • Hybrid-hydrogen-external-battery
  • Hybrid-fuel-cell-hydrogen
