Data Analyst

Description

In its On Board Unit, Satellic uses satellite positioning technology (GNSS) together with mobile (GSM) and dedicated short-range communication (DSRC). The Satellic kilometer charging system was launched on 1 October 2015, and the distribution of the On Board Units also began on that date.

To support the Operations & Maintenance Department, we are looking for a Senior data analyst that will work on the following areas:

  • Analysis of data with regards to KPI’s SLA’s, operational and business execution in function of optimizations
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets and create reports
  • Guard and improve data quality
  • Review and improvement of monitoring and reporting procedures.

 

Knowledge and competences

  • +/- 5 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence and Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills and structured approach to monitoring technical processes with large amount of data
  • Attention to details and a thorough and precise work style
  • Good presentation skills to document the results and to communicate complex ideas
  • Ability to translate business requirements
  • Experience with data modelling & databases
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch & English
  • Passionate about new technologies

 

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Oracle (Database, SQL, APEX), ETL, and/or Splunk.
  • Knowledge of French
